Dr Abdul Hassan
Dr. Hassan was re-appointed as the Board Chair in 2021 by Hon. Faiyaz Koya, Minister for Commerce, Trade, Tourism, and Transport. A registered valuer by profession with extensive experience working in the public sector, Dr. Hassan is also the Chairman of the Valuers Registration Board of Fiji. He is the owner and Director of South Pacific Property Consulting Services Limited.
Dr. Hassan completed his Doctoral Thesis in 2014 on "Sustainable Development of Low- Cost Urban Housing in Fiji." As an academic with more than twenty years of dedicated service, Dr. Hassan shares his knowledge with Fiji's future land management professionals as a Senior Lecturer in Land Management at the University of the South Pacific.

Hemant Kumar
Deputy Chairperson
Hemant Kumar was re-appointed as the Deputy Chair in 2021 by Hon. Faiyaz Koya, Minister for Commerce, Trade, Tourism, and Transport. An Architect by profession, Mr. Kumar is the Managing Director of Masuria Design Limited, with more than 30 years experience in architecture, construction and master planning in Fiji and the Pacific region. He attained his tertiary education from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand, and worked in New Zealand before returning to Fiji. Hemant enjoys serving the community and is a Rotarian and has served in Rotary in Fiji and in the district. Passionate about doing the best and assisting others to do their best.

Caroline Waqabaca
Board Member
Caroline Waqabaca was re-appointed to the Board in 2021. Mrs. Waqabaca is currently the Chief Manager Financial Markets with the Reserve bank of Fiji. She brings to the Board her experience as an economist and central banker, in helping drive growth and development for the real estate sector. Her areas of work interest include monetary policy and financial sector development, and she is passionate about inclusive growth and financial inclusion. Mrs. Waqabaca holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy from the Graduate Institute of Policy Studies in Japan, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Economics from the University of the South Pacific.

Unise Druavesi
Board Member
Unise Druavesi was re-appointed to the Board in 2021. Ms. Druavesi started her career with i-Taukei Land Trust Board from 2010- 2017 and has a vast knowledge of sales analysis, housing assessment, valuation, and associated land estate matters. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Land Use Planning and Real Estate and a Post Graduate Diploma in Commerce from the University of the South Pacific. Ms. Druavesi joined the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Tourism and Transport (MCTTT) in 2017 and currently holds the position of Senior Economist. She has a passion for growth and development and attributes her inspiration to overcoming challenges in her professional career and home-front to her family. In addition to her professional career at MCTTT, Ms. Druavesi is also the Company Secretary for the Fiji Investment Corporation Limited and envisages making new connections through her career.

Mary Motofaga
Board Member
Mary Motofaga has been a lawyer for the past 14 years and currently with the Solicitor-General’s Office. Since 2019, she has served as a member of the Real Estate Agents Licensing Board.
She believes it is her obligation to make a contribution to the constant improvement of the services provided by the REALB and the real estate profession.
